Café By The Way is my personal favorite! It's a cozy place with some bright and unique interiors, perfect for enjoying board games (which they provide) with your friends along with some soothing music. Their hot chocolate is by far the best one I have tried.

Kempty Falls

Located on the way between Dehradun-Mussoorie roads, Kempty Falls is a beautiful cascade of water that falls to the ground from a mighty altitude of 40 feet. It is a beautiful picnic spot and do enjoy some hot Maggi after taking a dip in the falls.

Mall Road

Located in the heart of Mussoorie, the Mall Road is a colonial relic with benches and lampposts filled with modern shops, video game parlors, and skating rinks. There are also a lot of souvenir shops here where you can purchase knick-knacks.

Company Garden

The vibrant Company Garden is a lovely place to spend an entire day out with your family and friends within the lush greenery. It is a popular tourist attraction and people enjoy strolling or taking photographs in the eclectic lawn of the garden.

Gun Hill Point

Said to be an extinct volcano, Gun Hill is the second-highest point in Mussoorie. The scene from the top of this hill is a panoramic view of the snow-clad Himalayan ranges. The highlight of the Gun Hill is the ropeway, so must try.

Tips

  • The best time to visit Mussoorie would be around spring (Feb–April) or before peak winters (Sept–Nov).

  • You can reach Mussoorie via Dehradun, which has good connectivity by air, road as well as rail. From Dehradun, you can either take a bus or a cab.

  • For commuting in Mussoorie, you can take a cab to further destinations like Kempty falls, the company garden, etc. All other places like eateries and hotels are within walking distance from Mall Road.
