Beverly Villa is a well-kept property with great hospitality and polite staff. The rooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with all necessary amenities. The location is easily accessible and offers a wonderful view. Caution: Unmarried couples are not allowed in this property
For the Luxurious Traveler:
Taj Savoy property in Ooty is the best getaway for a peaceful vacation. They have beautiful cozy cottages and a courteous staff, and they offer tons of activities including horse riding and cycling amidst nature. Tip: If you are going as a couple, do book a candlelight dinner to have some amazing time and food, with your partner!

Turrett cottage is an English-styled cottage in the heart of Ooty. It has an antique touch to it and is very spacious with a fully functional kitchen. They have arrangements for barbeque so do have some grilled chicken and paneer while sipping on wine and enjoying the beautiful weather. It can host 9 guests maximum and is perfect for a family or a group of 6 and above. Tip: If you are a smaller group, checkout Stumpfields, Honeysuckle Suite
Where to Eat
Located away from the crowded regions of Ooty, Earl's Secret also known as the glass restaurant, is one of the best restaurants in the town. It is built inside a colonial-era bungalow that provides marvelous views of the valley. Must try foods include chocolate brownie, pesto pasta, veg kebabs, chicken roulade and shahi tukda.
Inspired by European style, Le Cafe is an open-air cafe renowned for its amazing ambiance and delectable food options. The open-air seating is ideal for coffee dates, Saturday brunches, and quick luncheons. The highlight of this restaurant is its design, adorned with colorful flowers, making it the most charming spot in town.
Don't miss their famous wood-fired pizza, sandwiches and burgers.
Cafe Diem is a picturesque hillside cafe featuring a beautiful garden and stunning views of the Nilgiri hills. This vegetarian restaurant, owned by Radhika Shastry, reflects her love for veg cuisine. Be sure to book a table in advance to enjoy this delightful spot.

What to do
Ooty is a paradise for tea lovers so a visit to the tea estate and factory is a must. There are many tea estates in Ooty itself, but we chose Highfield tea factory as it is not much crowded and provides a free of cost factory tour. You can also walk around the estate and get some insta worthy clicks. You can take toy train ride to Coonoor from Ooty to enjoy some stunning views on the way.
Boating at Pykara Lake is one of the top things to do in Ooty.
It is exceptionally clean and blue leaving you in awe of the beautiful scenery. If you are a thrill seeker speed boat is advised.
Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiri Mountains, offers breathtaking panoramic views of Ooty and its lush surroundings. The peak is home to a well-maintained observatory with telescopes, providing visitors a closer look at the stunning landscape. It is perfect for trekking, sightseeing, and photography.
Miscellaneous Tips
Apart from Monsoons (June to August), Ooty is a treat almost all around the year.
If you love long drives, you will definitely enjoy the drive from Bangalore to Ooty and Bangalore is well connected by all major cities of India. Also, having a car in Ooty is recommended.
